Student Drop Off

Student drop-off and pick-up procedures are listed here. Our goal for these procedures is to keep all children and adults safe.

Morning drop-off starts at 8:50 a.m. and it ends at 9:00 a.m. PLEASE NOTE: Students must be in their classrooms BEFORE the 9:05 a.m. bell or they are tardy and need to be signed in at the office by an adult.
Follow the arrows to the back part of the parking lot.
Pull as far forward as possible to the designated drop-off area before letting children out of the car. Parents should remain in their car.
Release students from passenger side of the car only. We release from island to island where staff are present.
Students are expected to get out of the car themselves while the parent stays in the car.
Do not pass other cars waiting to drop off students.
Exit by driving behind the designated bus slots. Do not drive in front of the buses.

Parent Pick Up

Please note: if you are planning to use parent pick-up, you should have already contacted the office and/or completed an online form.

Parents are assigned a numbered parking space for the year on the north side of the building near the café.
For student and staff safety, the parent pick-up lot will be closed off to incoming traffic at 4:05 pm. Parents must arrive and park in their assigned spot prior to 4:05 pm.
Parents are to remain in their cars at all times.
It is recommended for parents to back into their assigned space for ease of exit.
School issued name cards must be displayed in the front dashboard. If you do not have a school issued name card with you, you will be required to show a picture ID.
Teachers will walk students to their designated parking space and monitor loading.
You will need to remain in your designated parking space until staff begin the dismissal of cars.
After ALL cars are loaded, and there are no students crossing the lot, you will be released by a staff member in an orderly manner. We will follow the same dismissal pattern all year, dismissing cars from front to back. Please be courteous to all families and follow these guidelines.
This process is necessary as students and staff will be walking through the parking lot.
As a general rule – buses will be leaving the parking lot before parent-pick up is released.

Please follow the directional arrows in the parking lot and remember to NEVER DRIVE IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL BUSES OR THE SCHOOL BUILDING for the safety of all.

NOTE: For the safety and security of all Warren students, the office will NOT take phone calls/emails of changes in a student’s dismissal after 12:00 pm the day of the change.
PARKING

Parking is provided in the front of the building. Visitor and accessible parking are closest to the front entrance. We ask that all visitors enter through the front doors only and check in at the office. Please do not park in the bus slots.

There is NO PARKING in the visitor spaces or the bus slots during dismissal. It is a danger to our students to have cars pulling in/out of the visitor spaces during dismissal.

Full day – NO PARKING from 3:45-4:15; Early Release – NO PARKING 12:45-1:20.
